# CRM

> Companies and contacts from CRMs, in one shape.

The CRM category reads the two records every CRM has: **companies** (accounts, organizations) and **contacts** (people, leads).

**Use it to:** import a customer’s accounts and contacts, match your users to CRM records, or enrich your product with CRM data.

## Endpoints

## Notes

* **Custom fields aren’t included.** CRMs are heavily customized. Use [`include_raw=true`](/docs/guides/unified/conventions#include-the-raw-response) to see the full record, or the [Proxy](/docs/guides/proxy/overview) to query specific fields.
* **`website` and `email`** are `null` when the record doesn’t have one.
* **Large CRMs** can hold hundreds of thousands of records. Page through with `after`, at a pace that stays inside the [rate limit](/docs/guides/proxy/rate-limits).
* **Writes** (creating or updating records) go through the [Proxy](/docs/guides/proxy/making-requests).
